为积极响应中国政府提出的“一带一路”国际战略，该学校由政府补贴学费的90%，学校每学期学费仅收取1100马币，相当于1700元人民币。
大学简介：
马来西亚唯一一所拥有近百年历史的师范类大学，马来西亚苏丹依德理斯师范大学（UPSI）是一所公立高等教育学府，是马来西亚国内历史最悠久的师范学府。UPSI前身是苏丹依德理斯训练学院。大学建于1922年，迄今已有93年历史，多年来培育出很多优秀的人才，UPSI在马来西亚教育发展史上扮演着举足轻重的角色。
UPSI共有9所学院，它们分别是教育与人类发展学院、科学与数学学院管理与经济学院 、音乐与表演艺术学院 人文科学学院 、技术和职业教育学院 、体育科学与教练学院、语言与传播学院及艺术、电脑与创意工业学院。UPSI提供54项课程供学生报读 (7项文凭课程、35项教育学士课程、4项教育学文学士课程和8项学士课程)。 另外，UPSI研究生院 一共提供173项课程供硕博生报读 (103项硕士课程和70项博士课程)。
虽然承载着悠久的历史，但是UPSI并不固步自封，相反积极与国内外大学进行学术交流与合作。此外，UPSI也不忘回馈社会，组织举办多项的跨文化交流、社区服务等活动，在当地学生及留学生中得到了良好的口碑。留学生人数逐年增加，意味着UPSI在鼓励学术人员使用英语作为教学媒介语的努力上得到了正面的回应。不仅有助于留学生人数的增长吸引外籍教职员与学术人员前来大学执教与交流， 还大大提高学员与教职员的英语水平能力。
至今，UPSI拥有超过29, 000名学生。其中有来自超过20个不同国家的国际留学生，如中国、印度尼西亚、日本、泰国、汶莱、新加坡、乌兹别克斯坦、利比亚及巴基斯坦。与此同时，UPSI也聘请了逾30位来自各个领域外籍讲师传授学生专业知识，进行学术交流。逐年增加的研究生人数也显示了UPSI 在可持续发展的教育专业方面的成功。此外，UPSI也为逾10,000在职中小学老师提供各专业远程教育。
现今，UPSI不再只是马来社会的师资培训阵营，而是全民共同的人类灵魂工程师之摇篮。UPSI作为国家重点教育大学， 展望2020年希望成为亚洲首屈一指的教育大学。
